ZYUS Life Sciences Completes Secured Loan Financing

ZYUS Life Sciences' (ZYUS.V) wholly-owned subsidiary, ZYUS Life Sciences Inc, completed its secured loan financing and raised gross proceeds of around C$1.9 million, it said after markets closed Monday.

The secured loan, completed in nine tranches, has an interest rate of 12% per annum, is prepayable at any time without penalty or premium, and matures six months from the effective date of each loan, said the company.

Certain insiders took part in the secured loan for a total of C$845,000, added the company.

The company's shares last traded May 6, closing at C$0.495 on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Silver Storm Mining Closes Final Tranche of Private Placement, Raises Total C$21 Million

Silver Storm Mining (SVRS.V) said Monday it closed the second and final tranche of its non-brokered private placement, raising gross proceeds of C$6.38 million. The company issued 12.75 million units at C$0.50 apiece in the second tranche.Together with the first tranche, Silver Storm issued a total of 42 million units for aggregate gross proceeds of C$21 million.Silver Storm said it plans to use the net proceeds mainly for surface and underground drilling at the La Parrilla Silver Mine Complex and for working capital.
