Zhejiang Zheneng Electric Power's (SHA:600023) electricity generation for the first half rose 2.8% year on year to 81.1 billion kilowatt hours, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.
The higher power generation was produced after the commissioning of Jiaxing Phase IV's Unit 9 of Zhejiang Zheneng Jiahua Power Generation in June 2025 and Zhejiang Zheneng Taizhou No. 2 Power Generation's Phase II Units 3 and 4 in December 2025 and April this year, respectively.
The on-grid electricity climbed 2.87% year on year to 76.8 billion kWh during the same period.
The power company's shares slumped 8% during the afternoon trade.
