Wilton Resources (WIL.V) on Wednesday said it raised C$565,000 as it closed a non-brokered private placement of units.
The oil and gas exploration company issued a total of 2.26-million units at C$0.25 apiece. Each unit is made up of a share and a two-year warrant to buy a share for C$0.30.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate needs and as a reserve to pursue the acquisition of an international oil and gas property, it said.
The company's shares were last seen down C$0.015, or 6.1%, to C$0.23 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
