Westmount Energy's (WTE.L) investee JHI Associates secured shareholder and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) clearances for its takeover by Eco (Atlantic) Oil & Gas (ECO.L).
The oil and gas investing company said Tuesday the plan of arrangement for the takeover is still subject to a five-year license extension of the PL001 license, a cash balance of $1 million upon closing, government approvals, and other conditions.
Caspian Sunrise (CASP.L) secured regulatory approval to drill four new wells on the BNG contract area in Kazakhstan.The London-listed oil and gas exploration and production company will work on two 5,000 meter-deep wells and a shallower one with a depth of 3,500 meters at the Yelemes Deep structure targeting Permian limestone and Triassic sandstone, respectively, according to a Monday release.Another well with a depth of 2,500 meters will also be drilled on a potential new shallow structure LK6 targeting Cretaceous point bar sandstone.

Eni's (ENI.MI) Eni Natural Energies Mozambique and the Instituto Superior Dom Bosco will install a new cookstoves production unit at the Salesian Vocational Training Centre in Maputo, Mozambique.The expansion project aims to increase the site's manufacturing capacity to 500 cookstoves per day from 350 previously, according to a Monday release.The cookstoves are distributed across provinces in Mozambique as part of the Italian energy company's Clean Cooking Programme in Sub-Saharan Africa.
