Caspian Sunrise (CASP.L) secured regulatory approval to drill four new wells on the BNG contract area in Kazakhstan.
The London-listed oil and gas exploration and production company will work on two 5,000 meter-deep wells and a shallower one with a depth of 3,500 meters at the Yelemes Deep structure targeting Permian limestone and Triassic sandstone, respectively, according to a Monday release.
Another well with a depth of 2,500 meters will also be drilled on a potential new shallow structure LK6 targeting Cretaceous point bar sandstone.
