Wescan Goldfields (WGF.V) said on Thursday that it is mobilizing a fly camp at its Munro Lake Project in northern Saskatchewan and expects to start Phase 1 diamond drilling "within days."
The company received a three-year drill permit for Munro Lake Project last month.
Geophysical surveys are expected to start shortly. Phase 1 of the summer diamond drilling program will consist of up to 2,000 meters of helicopter-supported diamond drilling, a statement said.
Wescan shares were unchanged at C$0.16, on the TSX Venture Exchange.
