WAM Leaders (ASX:WLE) raised AU$313 million through its share purchase plan (SPP) and placement, including AU$88 million from more than 4,700 shareholders under the SPP, according to an Australian bourse filing on Thursday after market hours.
The SPP was priced at AU$1.294 per share, representing a 2.5% discount to the five-day volume-weighted average price, with the new shares expected to be issued on Friday and commence trading on Sept. 7, per the filing.
Participating shareholders will receive a fully franked final dividend of AU$0.048 per share, payable Nov. 30 to shareholders on record as of Nov. 18, bringing the fiscal 2026 dividend to AU$0.096 per share, the filing said.
The company's assets under management have increased to more than AU$2.2 billion following the capital raising, with the additional funds to be invested in high-quality Australian large-cap companies, while its increased scale is expected to improve operational efficiency and reduce the fixed expense ratio, the filing added.
