Xingye Silver & Tin Mining's Unit Resumes Operations After Accident; Shares Up 4%

Inner Mongolia Xingye Silver & Tin Mining's (SHE:000426) unit, Xiwuzhumuqin Banner Yinman Mining, resumed operations after being shut down due to an accident that brought one casualty, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Thursday.

Yinman Mining's production at its mining area and its mineral processing tailings system were temporarily suspended following a work accident during production at the mine's underground Third Mining Area on July 26.

The metals miner's shares jumped 4% during the morning trade.

Viva Goods Ups Stake in Sportswear Giant Li Ning

Viva Goods (HKG:0933) has purchased 29.6 million shares of Chinese sportswear giant Li Ning (HKG:2331) for HK$398.4 million as an investment, according to a Tuesday bourse filing.The company said it bought the shares through open market transactions at an average price of HK$13.45 apiece.Following the transaction, Viva's stakeholding in Li Ning rose to 16.9%, with ownership of 437.2 million shares.
