Wallbridge Mining (WM.TO) has gradually resumed operations at the Fenelon gold project in Quebec after authorities lifted an evacuation order in response to wildfires in the region.
The Fenelon project site has served as the base of firefighter operations since mid-July, Wallbridge said. The company did not report any damage on its facilities.
Wallbridge expects drilling and other exploration activities to resume by the end of August. A pre-feasibility study is scheduled for completion in late 2027 or early 2028.
