Walhalla Gold (WAU.CN) said Friday that it is advancing its mining strategy in Victoria, Australia.
Walhalla, which controls 1,230 km across the Walhalla-Woods Point region, including the past producing Walhalla-Woods Point district, has engaged a geological consultant to review its historical exploration dataset and provide technical input into target generation and prioritization.
The company also plans to deploy airborne and ground geophysics to identify exploration targets.
"The extensive work undertaken over the past several weeks, both in the data and on the ground in Victoria, has strengthened our conviction in the opportunity at Walhalla. As we finalise our District Discovery Strategy, we are focused on applying what we learn from known mineral systems across the broader land position to generate and prioritize new opportunities," said Walhalla Gold Chief Executive Officer Steven Jukes. "We are now moving from evaluation to field work planning and execution, with clearer exploration priorities and a growing pipeline of project opportunities across the district."
Walhalla Gold shares were last seen down CA$0.005 at CA$0.095 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
