Visionary Metals (VIZ.V) started diamond drilling and ground-based fixed-loop time-domain electromagnetic (FLTEM) surveys at its King Solomon nickel and copper sulfide project located at Fremont County, Wyoming, it said in a statement on Thursday.
The company has been granted 4,500 meters of diamond drilling at King Solomon and Tin Cup collectively, and expects drilling at King Solomon to test three high-conductance features at the site. Drills will move to test five separate large conductive bodies associated with mafic and ultramafic rock at Tin Cup, following King Solomon, it said.
The Vancouver-based exploration company's 2026 drill program is being advanced under its exploration alliance with Teck American, a unit of Teck Resources (TECK-A.TO, TECK-B.TO, TECK), which has provided equity and non-dilutive direct funding together with participation on the technical committee, it said.
Borehole and additional ground-based FLTEM surveys have also been planned to test for possible extensions of suspected massive sulfide mineralization at both projects, it added.
Shares of the company were last seen up 2.3% at CA$0.225 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
