Viridian Metals (VRDN.CN) closed its non-brokered private placement of units, raising CA$1 million, it said in a statement late Friday.
The offering consisted of the issuance of 2.3-million units at CA$0.45 apiece.
"This financing strengthens our hard-dollar treasury as we enter an active period for the company," said Viridian chief executive officer Tyrell Sutherland. "With drilling continuing at Kraken and a steady flow of results ahead, we intend to enhance Viridian's visibility and better communicate the results of our work."
Shares of the company closed unchanged at CA$0.63 on Friday on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
