Viatris (VTRS) said Wednesday that the Food and Drug Administration has approved its Gwyn Lo patch, a combined hormonal contraceptive patch with low-dose estrogen
The approval was supported by results from a phase 3 study that showed contraceptive efficacy, a well-characterized safety profile and robust patch adhesion performance, Viatris said.
Viatris shares were 0.8% higher in Wednesday trading.
