Versamet Royalties to be Added to the MVIS Global Junior Gold Miners Index; Publishes 2026 Asset Handbook

Versamet Royalties (VMET.TO, VMET) will be added to the MVIS Global Junior Gold Miners Index, the underlying benchmark index for the VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF, it said Wednesday.

The inclusion, which will be implemented after close of trading on Sept. 18, will become effective on Sept. 21, said the company.

The company also published its 2026 Asset Handbook, it added.

"Inclusion in the GDXJ is expected to further enhance Versamet's visibility and trading liquidity and broaden our exposure to institutional and retail investors globally," said Versamet Chief Executive Officer Dan O'Flaherty. "The publication of our 2026 Asset Handbook also provides investors with a more detailed view of the quality and embedded growth within our portfolio."

The company's shares were last seen down CA$0.34, or 2.5%, to CA$12.84 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
