WELL Health Technologies Prices C$150 Million Senior Unsecured Notes Offering

WELL Health Technologies (WELL.TO) on Monday priced a private-placement offering of C$150 million of senior unsecured notes due 2031, which bear interest at 6.875% per year.The notes will be issued at par under a trust indenture, it said. Proceeds will be used to refinance its convertible debentures maturing in December and for general corporate needs.The company expects closing of the offering to occur on or about July 15, subject to certain conditions.Shares of the company were last seen down about 3% at C$4.28 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.Price: $4.28, Change: $-0.13, Percent Change: -2.95%

Canadian Travel to U.S. Edges Higher in June, but Is Still Significantly Lower Than Pre-Trump Volumes, StatsCan Says

Canadian travel to the United States showed a modest rebound in June, but volumes remain substantially below levels before Donald Trump's second presidency, suggesting that cross-border travel demand has yet to recover, according to data from Statistics Canada Monday.Canadian-resident return trips from the United States reached 1.7 million, up 3.2% on the year and marking the third consecutive month of annual growth, Canada's statistical agency said,The increase was driven by a 5.2% rise in vehicle return trips in June. In contrast, air travel from the US declined 3.8% year over year during the month.Travel patterns among Canadian residents began shifting in early 2025 amid rising political tensions between Canada and the US after Trump was sworn in as president.Compared with June 2024, the number of trips by Canadians in June 2026 was down more than 28%, added StatsCan.
