US crude oil field production dropped to an average of about 13.71 million barrels per day, down from 13.97 mmb/d in April, according to the Energy Information Administration's Petroleum Supply Monthly data released Friday.
Total US crude oil and petroleum products supplied in May stood at 20.07 mmb/d, down from 20.81 mmb/d in April.
US crude oil and petroleum products supplied in May fell to their lowest level since March 2025, according to EIA data.
