US Chicago Board of Trade August soybean futures slipped 0.11% in early trade on Friday to $11.76 per bushel.
Soybean oil dipped 1.39% to 67.40 cents per pound despite a rise in crude oil prices which it sometimes substitutes in a blended form.
Soybean export commitments now total 1.532 bb in 2025-26 and are down 18% from a year ago. That is ahead of USDA's estimated pace, even as USDA's estimate of US ending soybean stocks is 13% larger than the previous five-year average.
NYMEX ethanol futures ended 0.26% lower on Thursday at $1.945, with traded volumes the highest in more than a week.
