DoorDash (DASH) was asked by the chairmen of two US House Select Committees for "information and documents" regarding its evaluation and use of AI systems from China, CNBC reported Friday, citing a letter it viewed.
The two committees are conducting a joint investigation into the security ramifications of Chinese AI model use among US companies, the report said.
"DoorDash proudly supports American AI leadership and is working to ensure AI benefits Main Street, not just the biggest companies," a spokesperson toldvia email. "We look forward to engaging with the Committees on how we safely and responsibly use AI, including American-developed frontier models and open-weight models."
