Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Waymo has paused its robotaxi services in Atlanta, Georgia due to flooding, TechCrunch reported Thursday, citing the company.

Waymo has also halted services in San Antonio, Texas, according to the report.

A Waymo spokesperson toldin an emailed response that during a period of intense rain in Atlanta on Wednesday, an unoccupied Waymo vehicle encountered a flooded road and stopped, and that the vehicle has been recovered from the scene.
