Update: GoDaddy Shares Fall After Q2 Results

GoDaddy (GDDY) shares were down more than 16% in Friday trading following its Q2 results in the previous day.

Late Thursday, the company reported a Q2 net income of $1.83 per diluted share, up from $1.41 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.69.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.30 billion, up from $1.22 billion a year earlier. Analysts expected $1.29 billion.

The company expects revenue of $1.32 billion to $1.34 billion in Q3 and narrowed its 2026 revenue guidance to $5.22 billion to $5.26 billion from prior range of $5.20 billion to $5.28 billion.

Analysts are looking for $1.33 billion and $5.24 billion, respectively.

Western Union (WU) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Thursday of $0.31 per diluted share, down from $0.42 a year earlier.Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.42.Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.01 billion, compared with $1.03 billion a year earlier.Analysts expected $1.02 billion.The company now expects 2026 adjusted EPS of $1.25 to $1.35, down from $1.75 to $1.85. Analysts expect $1.72.Full-year revenue is now expected to grow 3% to 5%, compared with 5% to 8% expected earlier.
