Update: FuelCell Energy Fiscal Q3 Adjusted Loss Narrows; Revenue Decline; Shares Fall

FuelCell Energy (FCEL) shares were down roughly 18% in Wednesday trading after the company reported a fiscal Q3 loss and lower revenue.

The company reported a fiscal Q3 adjusted loss of $0.64 per share Wednesday, narrowing from a loss of $0.95 a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by FactSet expected losses of $0.39.

Revenue for the fiscal quarter ended July 31 was $33.0 million, down from $46.7 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected $38.8 million.
