American Healthcare REIT (AHR) completed the acquisitions of six Kensington Senior Living communities comprising 464 units for $572 million.
Two additional communities are subject to definitive purchase agreements and are expected to close in Q4, subject to conditions, American Healthcare said Tuesday in a statement.
The full eight-community portfolio has 745 units with an aggregate contract purchase price of $873 million, the company said. Kensington will continue operating the communities after the closings.
The transaction establishes a long-term strategic partnership, American Healthcare said.
