Frontier (ULCC) reported a Q2 adjusted loss Wednesday of $0.10 per diluted share, narrower than a loss of $0.31 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.47.
Total operating revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.28 billion, up from $929 million a year earlier.
Analysts expected revenue of $1.22 billion.
For Q3, the company said it expects results between an adjusted loss of $0.10 and earnings of $0.10. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect a loss of $0.16.
For Q4, Frontier said it expects adjusted EPS between breakeven and $0.20. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $0.23.
The company's shares were up 3.3% in early Wednesday trading.
