Canadian Natural Resources (CNQ.TO) booked Q2 adjusted net earnings of C$2.19 per diluted share from C$0.71 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$2.01.
The company said its board approved a quarterly cash dividend of C$0.625 per share.
The company, Canada's No.1 oil and gas producer, said it produced 1.68-million barrels of oil equivalent per day(boe/d) in the quarter, up 18% from the year-prior quarter, including record output of 625,000 barrels per day from its oil-sands operations.
Canadian Natural also raised its 2026 production guidance to between 1.637-million boe/d and 1.682-million boe/d, up from its prior range of 1.615-million boe/d to 1.665 million boe/d.
The company's shares were last seen up C$0.73, or 1.2%, at C$63.58 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
