Accenture (ACN) shares were down more than 17% in Thursday trading after the company cut its fiscal 2026 revenue growth outlook and forecast Q4 revenue below expectations.
The company reported fiscal Q3 earnings Thursday of $3.80 per diluted share, up from $3.49 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $3.69.
Revenue for the quarter ended May 31 was $18.72 billion, compared with $17.73 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $18.78 billion.
The company said it expects fiscal Q4 revenue of $17.75 billion to $18.40 billion. Analysts expect $18.48 billion.
For fiscal 2026, Accenture raised its adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $13.78 to $13.90 from $13.65 to $13.90 previously. Analysts expect $13.86.
Accenture said it now expects fiscal 2026 revenue growth of 3% to 4% in local currency, down from a prior forecast of 4% to 5%. Excluding an estimated 1% impact from its US federal business, the company expects revenue growth of 4% to 5%.
