Check Point to Integrate With Amazon Bedrock AgentCore

Check Point Software Technologies (CHKP) said Wednesday it will integrate with Amazon.com's (AMZN) Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to extend its security controls into agentic workflows.

The integration will enable Check Point to offer AI behavioral monitoring for destructive or misaligned actions, guardrails for content moderation, and partner-specific detection signals.

The signals feed into AgentCore policy that acts at the gateway, allowing enterprises to pair Check Point's detection capabilities with automated enforcement, according to a statement.

Consumer stocks edged up late Tuesday afternoon, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) each fractionally higher.In corporate news, Rivian Automotive (RIVN) laid off hundreds of employees, or under 2% of its workforce, Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a company spokesperson. The layoffs affected workers in the electric-vehicle maker's service and customer organization, the report said. Rivian shares fell 4.3%.
