United Airlines (UAL) has launched Starlink Wi-Fi on its first widebody transatlantic flight from Newark/New York to London, the airline said Monday, as it expands the satellite internet provider's services across its fleet.
The company expects to install Starlink on nearly 60 widebody aircraft this year and plans to outfit its entire widebody fleet by summer 2027.
More than 400 United planes already feature Starlink, and the airline intends to equip about 1,000 aircraft with the service by the end of this year.
