Ubtech Robotics (HKG:9880) narrowed its loss to 311.5 million yuan in the first half of 2026 from 413.6 million yuan a year prior, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The robotics company's loss per share shrank to 0.62 yuan from 0.94 yuan in the year-ago period.
Revenue for the interim period jumped 104.2% to 1.27 billion yuan from 621.5 million yuan in the corresponding period of the last year.
Kawan Renergy (KLSE:KENERGY) unit Magenko Renewables (Ipoh) received approval from the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia for a 2.5-megawatt biomass power plant under the 2026 Feed-in Tariff system, according to a Thursday Malaysian bourse filing.The project has an installed capacity of 2.5 megawatts, and net export capacity of 2 megawatts. The Feed-in Tariff is scheduled to commence on Aug. 17, 2029, and run for 21 years.The basic tariff is 0.38 ringgit per kilowatt-hour for the first 10 years, and 0.288 ringgit per kilowatt-hour for the remaining period.The project will be financed through IPO proceeds and bank financing, it said.
SBI Holdings (TYO:8473) plans to purchase a 20% stake in Indonesia-based online brokerage Ajaib Group for $270 million by the end of August, making the latter an equity-method affiliate, Nikkei Asia reported Friday.Ajaib offers online brokerage, foreign-exchange margin trading, cryptocurrency and asset management services.
