Ubtech Robotics Launches Full-Size Humanoid Robots
Ubtech Robotics (HKG:9880) officially launched its UWORLD U1 Series of full-size ultra-bionic humanoid robots as part of a move to introduce robots to daily human life, according to a Wednesday release.The series has three models, with one semi-torso version and two full-body robots, starting from 119,800 yuan.As of Wednesday, orders for robots under the series stood at over 13,361 units, the robotics firm said.The move supports the company's goal of human-robot companionship and collaboration through three steps: automating dangerous tasks, offering companionship, and eventually seamless interaction between humans and robots, according to Chairman and CEO James Zhou.
