Uber Technologies (UBER) will cease operations in Nigeria after 12 years, multiple news outlets reported Wednesday, citing a notice to customers sent by the company.
The ride-hailing firm said it decided to wind down its Nigerian business, effective Sept. 2, following a review of its operations, without disclosing further details, Reuters reported.
Uber did not immediately respond to a request for comment from.
