Troilus Mining (TLG.TO) on Thursday reported the latest drill results from the Troilus project in Quebec.
Highlights include 8.84 grams per tonne (g/t) gold equivalent over 4.8 meters, including 23.58 g/t gold equivalent over 1 m and 7.04 g/t gold equivalent over 2.8 m.
Troilus said the results were from five drill holes totaling 2,915 meters completed as part of an extension drilling program at the Z87 pit.
"These results provide valuable new data for future geological model updates as we continue evaluating the longer-term scale, flexibility and optionality of the Troilus project," chief executive Justin Reid said.
The company's shares closed up C$0.16, or 8.4%, to C$2.06 Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
