Zenith Energy (ZENA.OL) said Friday the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes is expected to issue a final ruling regarding the claims of $572.7 million filed by the company's units against Tunisia during the first quarter of 2027.
The energy production and development company's wholly owned subsidiaries, Zenith Energy Africa, Zenith Overseas Assets, and Compagnie du Désert, initiated the arbitration in June 2023 against Tunisia under the bilateral investment treaty between the UK and Northern Ireland and Tunisia signed in 1989.
The arbitral tribunal will receive post-hearing written submissions from the parties on July 31 and Sept. 30, 2026.
