Transat A.T's Fiscal Third-Quarter Adjusted Loss Widens

Transat A.T (TRZ.TO) reported its fiscal third-quarter adjusted loss per share of CA$2.18 on Thursday, compared with a loss CA$0.28, a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected CA$1.42 loss per share.

Revenue increased to CA$792.7 million in the quarter, compared with CA$766.3 million, a year-ago. Analysts expected revenue of CA$802.1 million.

The company said the widened loss came on higher fuel prices.

"Shares of the company closed up 0.5% to CA$2.19 on Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
