Traction Uranium (TRAC.CN) completed its airborne radiometric survey at its Aurora Uranium Project, in the southeastern Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan, the company announced on Thursday.
The survey, part of Traction's 2026 exploration program at Aurora, is expected to help in evaluating "uranium prospectivity" and refining areas for follow-up exploration, the company said.
"With the field portion now complete, our focus shifts to processing and interpreting the data, so we can better understand the project's uranium potential and prioritize the most compelling areas for follow-up work," said Traction Uranium CEO Jared Suchan.
Traction has an option to acquire an 80% interest in Aurora from Cosa Resources (COSA.V), subject to satisfaction of certain earn-in requirements, the company added.
Traction Uranium's shares were last seen up C$0.01 to C$1.50 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
