TotalEnergies (TTE.PA, TTE.L) said Wednesday it is reinstating the price cap policy on gasoline and diesel that had been in effect until June.
In response to the renewed conflict in the Middle East and rising prices for petroleum products, gasoline prices will be capped at 1.99 euros per liter and diesel at 2.25 euros per liter across all the energy group's service stations in mainland France.
Repsol (REP.MC) concluded its share repurchase program worth 350 million euros and decided to terminate it before its expiration date of July 30.The Spanish energy company bought back a total of 15,768,002 shares, corresponding to 1.43% of its share capital, according to a Tuesday release.In addition, the company executed a capital reduction of 15.8 million euros through the redemption of these shares.

Range Resources (RRC) reported Q2 earnings late Tuesday of $0.83 per diluted share, down from $0.99 a year earlier.Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.64.Revenue in the three months ended June 30 fell to $833.6 million from $856.3 million a year earlier.
