ClearOne's (CLRO) majority stockholder, First Finance, has provided written consent approving the issuance of 12.5 million new common shares to Vivani Medical, a condition required to close its planned merger with Vivani unit Cortigen, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Shares of ClearOne soared 157% amid a surge in intraday trading volume to over 59.7 million from a daily average of about 3.23 million.

Braveheart Bio's (BRVE) unveiled an upsized initial public offering of 21.25 million common shares late Wednesday.

Shares surged 66% as intraday trading volume jumped to over 1.74 million.

Motorola Solutions (MSI) delivered a better-than-expected Q2, driven by continued outperformance from Silvus Technologies in defense markets and a surprise return to growth in its Land Mobile Radio business, Morgan Stanley said in a Thursday research note.

Shares jumped 8.2%, with intraday trading volume rising to more than 1.06 million from the stock's daily average of about 1.13 million.
