Utz Brands (UTZ) shares surged 89% after Germany-based Intersnack said Tuesday it agreed to buy the US snacks maker in a $2.9 billion take-private deal.

Vivakor's (VIVK) supply and trading unit signed four recurring physical crude oil purchase and sale transactions with two commercial counterparties for an estimated annualized commercial value of about $289.2 million, the company said Tuesday.

Intel (INTC) is planning to lay off workers in its data center group, Business Insider reported Tuesday, citing a company spokesperson. Separately, RBC Capital Markets said in a note that Intel is expected to report a decent Q2 supported by server CPU demand and pricing momentum.
Shares jumped 8.2%, with intraday trading volume at more than 64.8 million versus the stock's daily average of about 134.8 million.
