Major digital assets rose Thursday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) topping the $76,000 level.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 2% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 rose 1.8%, the S&P 500 added 1.2%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.6%.
Bitcoin gained 0.8% to $76,473, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume dropped 24.4% to $23.4 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, rose 1.8% to $2,445.
XRP (XRP-USD) declined 0.3%, BNB (BNB-USD) rose 1.6%, and Solana (SOL-USD) gained 2.6%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) increased 1.5%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) advanced 3.7%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 1.2% in the past 24 hours to $2.62 trillion, with trading volume dropping 12.6% to $77 billion.
