Major digital assets rose Tuesday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) topping the $64,000 level.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 4.2% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 rose 1.2%, the S&P 500 added 0.5%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.1%.
Bitcoin added 3.9% to $64,547, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume fell 4.7% to $28.82 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, rose 6.2% to $1,879.
XRP (XRP-USD) climbed 4.7%, BNB (BNB-USD) gained 2.6%, and Solana (SOL-USD) added 3%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) rose 3.6%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) surged 3.5%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 5.098% at 3 p.m. ET Tuesday, up from 4.610% Monday, while the five-year yield fell to 4.319% from 4.363%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 3.4% in the past 24 hours to $2.22 trillion, with trading volume rising 3.8% to $70.81 billion.
