Major digital assets rose Monday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) holding above $63,000.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 3.8% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 gained 0.9%, the S&P 500 climbed 0.3%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.2%.
Bitcoin rose 3.3% to $63,416, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume increased 3.3% to $38.5 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, added 4.4% to $1,685.
XRP (XRP-USD) rose 4.9%, BNB (BNB-USD) gained 3.3%, and Solana (SOL-USD) added 5.6%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) increased 4.4%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) surged 8.3%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.55% at 3 p.m. ET Monday, up from 4.534% Friday, while the five-year yield rose to 4.281% from 4.276%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 3.5% in the past 24 hours to $2.19 trillion, with trading volume gaining 27% to almost $95 billion.
