Major digital assets were mixed Monday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) holding above the $81,000 level.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, edged up 0.1% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 rose 0.1%, the S&P 500, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.2%.
Bitcoin rose 0.7% to $81,914, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume surged 102% to $38.45 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, fell 1% to $2,339.
XRP (XRP-USD) declined 0.5%, BNB (BNB-USD) added 0.3%, and Solana (SOL-USD) increased 1.8%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) added 0.5%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) fell 2.1%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.408% at 3 p.m. ET Monday, up from 4.363% Friday, while the five-year yield rose to 4.066% from 4.011%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 0.3% in the past 24 hours to $2.73 trillion, with trading volume gaining 0.5% to $166.27 billion.
