Top cryptocurrencies were mixed on Friday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) edging up above the $63,000 level.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, fell almost 0.3% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 rose 0.3%, the S&P 500 added 0.5%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 0.7%.
Bitcoin gained 0.4% at $63,577, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume fell 10.5% to $26.96 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, fell 1% to $1,664.
XRP (XRP-USD) fell 0.9%, BNB (BNB-USD) lost 0.1%, and Solana (SOL-USD) dipped 0.3%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) rose 1.1%, and Cardano (ADA-USD) increased 0.8%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.487% at 3 p.m. ET Friday, up from 4.461% Thursday, while the five-year yield rose to 4.213% from 4.188%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry fell 0.2% in the past 24 hours to $2.18 trillion, and trading volume decreasing 6.4% to $74.24 billion.
