Thunderstruck Resources Reports License Renewals, Launches C$1.8 Million Private Placement

Thunderstruck Resources (AWE.V) reported the renewals of special prospecting licenses that would allow the company to complete its exploration campaign at the Liwa gold-silver project in Fiji.

Thunderstruck has completed construction of the exploration camp and access road at the project. Mobilization of the drilling contractor and the company's technical services team is ongoing, Thunderstruck said Thursday.

Meanwhile, Thunderstruck has launched a C$1.8 million private placement to advance exploration at its properties in Fiji, as well as for general working capital.

The offering comprises about 12.0 million share priced at C$0.15 each. The company said the placement is fully allocated between Zhaojin International Gold (Hong Kong) and Asia Pacific Group PTE.

CAE's Fiscal Q1 Adjusted Earnings Remain Unchanged; Revenue Rises; Fiscal 2027 Outlook Kept

CAE (CAE.TO) after trade Wednesday reported fiscal first-quarter adjusted earnings per share of C$0.26, unchanged from a year ago.Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$0.23.Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 rose to C$1.17 billion from C$1.10 billion a year earlier.Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$1.13 billion.The company said its fiscal 2027 outlook remains unchanged. It continues to expect low-single-digit percentage revenue growth and adjusted EPS of C$1.21 to C$1.28.
