The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) has held talks with Taiwanese officials and innovation agencies to deepen cooperation in advanced chip technology and artificial intelligence, according to a Wednesday X post.
The move aims to upgrade Thailand's smart medical industry and related manufacturing capabilities. The discussions focused on expanding business matching, technology transfer in semiconductors, and joint development of AI-driven healthcare systems and data infrastructure.
The collaboration also targets workforce development to support high-skilled industries, with an emphasis on medical devices, automotive parts and electronics as Thailand seeks to strengthen its position in global supply chains, according to the social media post.
