Thailand's trade deficit narrowed to $3.61 billion in July from $6.53 billion in June, according to data from the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday.
Analysts polled by Trading Economics predicted a $6.3 billion deficit for the month.
In July 2025, Thailand booked a trade surplus of $320 million.
Exports rose 21.6% year over year to $34.8 billion, beating the consensus forecast for 17.8% growth.
Imports increased 36.7% to $38.4 billion. The consensus forecast was for a 42.2% rise.
