Thailand's manufacturing activity improved in July to its highest level since December 2025, with the headline S&P Global Thailand Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) coming in at 54.2, according to data released on Monday.
The latest reading, which provides a gauge of factory sector conditions, compared with the 53.6 recorded in the previous month. It far exceeded the series' long-run average of 50.5.
A reading above 50 indicates an expansion in sector performance compared to the prior month, while a figure below signals a contraction.
The monthly momentum was driven by production levels rising to their highest level so far in 2026.
