Terra Rossa Gold (TRR.V) has started drilling at its Vetas Gold Project in Colombia, it said Wednesday.
The drill program will include up to 5,000 meters across 13 holes, with eight of the holes testing the company's Real Minera target, the company said.
"Our goal with this program is to gain greater understanding of the stockwork zones for bulk tonnage underground mining potential", said Chief Executive Officer Carter Smith. "The drill has been turning since late last week and we are looking forward to seeing continuous assay results throughout Q4."
The company's shares closed down C$0.04, or 11%, to C$0.32 Tuesday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
