Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$0.57.
Sales for the quarter ended June 30 totaled C$160.0 million from C$60.1 million in the previous year.
The company's production was 17,125 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d), climbing from 7,998 boe/d.
Tenaz shares closed down C$2.35, or 4.2%, to C$53.13 Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
