Tamboran Resources (TBN) joint venture Sturt Plateau Compression Facility Trust has begun gas commissioning of the facility using gas from the Shenandoah South 2 well pad, the company said Tuesday.
The facility can process up to 50 terajoules per day of gas, with 40 TJ/d contracted to the Northern Territory Government of Australia under a long-term gas sales agreement, the company said.
Construction remains on schedule and within the 141 million Australian dollars ($100.8 million) budget, the company said, adding that it expects to begin gas sales to the Northern Territory Government soon.
