Talon Metals' (TLO.TO) president Mike Kicis will step down on Aug. 1, although he will remain as a consultant for up to three months, the company said on Monday.
"Over the past 15 years, he has been instrumental in driving step-change transformation, including, among others, the earn-in to the Tamarack Project and, most recently, the acquisition of Eagle Mine and Humboldt Mill," said Chief Executive Officer Darby Stacey.
Stacey will oversee the transition and Kicis' responsibilities will be given to the company's leadership team and external resources, added Talon.
Talon's stock was up 2.4% to trade at C$5.56 recently in Toronto.
